The elaborate design of the chassis contributes to a perfect road holding and a high level of manoeuvrability. 一葉扁舟　證明日本祖先有可能來自台灣
不用現代科學方法，靠著星象、風向，5名台、日划手，成功從台東划獨木舟到日本與那國島，日本學者表示，證明日本祖先有可能來自台灣。

「古人類的5官感覺比現代人類還銳利，現代人能划獨木舟到日本，證明過去的古人類更有能力」。

國立台灣史前文化博物館副研究員林志興盯著螢幕，看到獨木舟以原始方法成功從台東划到日本與那國島，更堅信日本的老祖宗有可能來自台灣。

日本考古學界發現史前舊石器時代人類進入日本列島途徑有3，分別為約3萬8000年前從朝鮮半島至九州登陸；約2萬5000年前從歐亞大陸北部經庫頁島跨津輕海峽，以及約3萬年前跨黑潮從台灣到沖繩島。

為了驗證第3條路徑，日本國立科學博物館和國立台灣史前文化博物館合作，尋找這條「太古航線」。

最重要的科學應證就是「航行」，古時候沒有大船，因此研究人員仿古人打推薦商品推薦商品造日本草船、阿美族竹筏，以及獨木舟。

日本團隊的負責人是海部陽介教授，民國105年先以草船從與那國島航向75公里的西表島，最後因天候不佳且船身進水，沒有成功。

接著民國106年日本團隊到台東，驗證阿美族竹筏。由東海岸阿美族人以台灣原生麻竹、黃藤、配合仿製舊石器時代的工具、石斧，打造一艘重約800公斤竹筏IRAI號，但是因太笨重，速度弱於黑潮，黑潮時速約每小時4公里。

民國107年再製改良版「IRAII號」竹筏，縮短船身減輕重量，並從長濱出發航向日本沖繩，發現竹筏不耐巨浪沖擊，竹管易受損滲水。

草船和竹筏驗證效果不佳，團隊改計畫使用獨木舟。最初希望獨木舟在台灣製作，可以嘗試參考阿美族傳統造獨木舟技法，但因海岸線林相改變，取材不易，最後改在日本製作。

獨木舟採用日本能登所產的雪松，模擬舊石器工具製成，船身長7.6公尺、寬0.7公尺、高0.6公尺。由日本考古學家山田昌久監製、工藝家雨宮國廣製作，可乘坐5人，重約350公斤，在日本東京灣附近進行跨越黑潮性能測試，發現獨木舟的穩定性雖不若竹船，但其速度強於竹船1.5倍以上。

為了符合移居發展，因此獨木舟上必須男女都有。

獨木舟今年5月運抵台東，在東海岸經過1個多月的訓練，由4名分別具有海洋知識、天象觀測家、獨木舟好手，及1名台灣划手，4男1女7月7日從台東東海岸烏石鼻海邊出發，未使用科學方法，仿古人原始方法航向日本與那國島。

團隊特別選擇從東海岸長濱鄉烏石鼻漁港出發，因為東海岸的八仙洞是台灣人類被發現最早居住的地方，距今將近3萬年左右，有可能是台灣祖先的發祥地；另一方面，黑潮在成功鎮外海開始轉向，流向日本，古人有可能藉著黑潮的力量，從東海岸遷徙到日本。

途中多次迷航，又藉著觀星象和太陽、風向找到正確航向，經過2天、航行205公里，今天中午11時許成功抵達日本沖繩與那國島久部良港。

喬科維奇美網第四輪直落三晉級，八強賽可能對戰費德勒。

溫布頓奪冠的喬柯維奇，看起來已經接近巔峰時期水準，今天遭遇世界排名第68的葡萄牙選手索沙，第一盤他就破了對手兩個發球局，第二盤雖然碰到亂流，還是六比四拿下，第三盤在二比一領先的狀況下，他請求傷停，最終直落三過關。如果費德勒今天能擊敗澳洲的米爾曼，兩個前球王將提前在八強賽遭遇，自2007年澳網以來，他們從未在大滿貫賽這麼早就碰頭。

女單部份，還在努力重回巔峰的俄羅斯女將莎拉波娃，今天則在第四輪被西班牙的娜瓦洛淘汰，無緣八強，她在美網夜場的連勝紀錄，也止步於23。
